Creative and Communication Arts
The Creative and Communication Arts Community inspires learners to understand and expand interests in different creative and communication styles and use artistic media to discover connections between who they are now and who they want to become.
In the Creative and Communication Arts Community, learners express their creativity through academic and personal endeavors. Learners talented in music, video creation, performing arts, graphic design, and other artistic areas grow their future employment skills in creative careers.
The Creative and Communicative Arts community provides learning opportunities within communication, marketing, and training pathways to develop critical skills to help learners build their desires into creative talents. Learners will develop practices for planning, designing, managing, and producing content and services that they will use to pursue future goals and career opportunities.

Pathway Options
Learners in the Creative and Communication Arts Community have the opportunity to pursue two unique career clusters; Marketing and Arts, Audio/Video Technology and Communication. Each cluster hosts Pathway Options with a corresponding Introduction Course to the career pathway along with a series of connected career and technical education and training opportunities that move seamlessly into a postsecondary option for a specific career area.
Marketing
Marketing offers insight into the processes affecting the flow of goods and services from the producer to the consumer. Learners are exposed to general marketing principles such as purchasing, distribution, sales, markets; market identification; product planning, packaging, pricing, and business management.

In this interest area, learners explore designing, producing, exhibiting, performing, writing, and publishing multimedia content including visual and performing arts and design, journalism, and entertainment services.
