We’re excited to share that Norris School District received a Transition Readiness Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI)!
The grant allowed us to purchase a 2026 GMC Terrain to transport learners to community-based transition activities, helping them gain skills for life after high school.

Join us for this year’s Winter Art Gala at the Mukwonago Community Library, December 15–19! Our learners’ artwork will be on display all week—stop by and celebrate their amazing artistic talents.
After completing the shop safety quiz, learners worked with Scott, our Facilities Manager, on various wood projects, including wood-burned artwork and building a display frame for achievements. We are excited to see what other curiosities these learners will explore in the shop!

Today’s outdoor adventure started with a hunt for grubs 🐛 (baby bugs, thanks for the tip, Katie!), but when they proved tricky to find, we switched to digging for worms—adding about 25 new wriggly friends to our worm farm! We also got a little scientific, using magnets to collect roughly 20g of particulate iron from the soil. Science and nature, all in one afternoon! 🔬🌿
