The Norris School District Macrocosm distinguishes a learner centric approach to developing agency and leadership at all levels. LEARNER PROFILES is one of the core principles of the macrocosm.
LEARNER PROFILES engage learners in self-reflection to provide an active picture of the learner across multiple dimensions and are used by learners to co-design plans and pathways.
At Norris, all learners (young and professional) develop and maintain a Learner Profile. The Learner Profile is a fluid collection of who the learner is and who they want to become across each of the four dimensions; academic, employability, citizenship and wellness. It is used as a primary source to inform the development of each learner’s plan and pathway.
